I have invested 10 years of my professional training in my Master’s workshop to learn how to restore old wrought iron objects. The basics of HOT DRILLING, NAILING, and using ZIP TIES to join the pieces are essential skills for RESTORING historical iron objects. Understanding the different FORGING STYLES that are typical of certain geographical areas is fundamental because it helps us to identify the object’s HISTORICAL PERIOD of construction and then restore it properly.
